Butane or propane What is better? café bleu | Nergiza
If you usually buy gas bottles, you have probably noticed that the dealer also sells propane bottles at a lower cost. Perhaps you thought that you can save some money with changing propane butane. Let's see the differences and which bottle is best for each case.
Butane and propane are commercial hydrocarbon mixtures, are not pure gases, and are derived from petroleum refining, so called LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas). Propane in gaseous form is somewhat less dense than butane, and both are heavier than air so they fall to the ground. one of the drawbacks of butane is that when you have the bottle on the street and the low temperature of 0 degrees, the cylinder freezes and does not leave butane, propane thing that does not happen.

Just not I have expressed well ... I mean that my parents and grandparents always used butane café bleu to heat water in the house, I live on the "inside" of Cantabria where winter café bleu frosts are normal, remember and that cylinders were always on the road and when they reached these colder months cylinders had to "cover them" what is the container, uncovered valve, (as if we were to put a coat ... lol) because butane froze and Sometimes we had no hot water until noon. The 0 degrees is not exact, because with 2 or 3 degrees is also freezes café bleu you (sometimes) and nothing comes out of the bottle ... say that with low outdoor temperatures not to put figures ... hahaha. I understand what you say, but where I live does not freeze hard and cylinders always have inside, so I have not had that problem. We corrected the wording to include the event that fails to leave the gas.
